Itinerary

After we meet at the Vršič Mountain Pass, we continue together in the direction of the Vratca Pass, where we follow the Hanzova Trail to the left. Right below the big gray walls, we strap on a climbing belt and a helmet, and enter the secured Hanzova via Ferrata route leading straight up to the picturesque Mala Mojstrovka Mountain. The ascent usually takes 3 hours, while the descent that follows the classic route to the Vršič Mountain Pass lasts about 2 hours.

"The tour started at the beautiful Vrsic Pass and the first part of the hike was fairly easy. Later on we had a small break with sandwiches and after that we put on the helmet, climbing harness and via ferrata set. I must admit that I was quite skeptical of my climbing abilities as I'd never done anything similar, but my guide Neja was very encouraging, supportive and patient during the climb. There was some gravel, which I wasn't too comfortable with, lol but the encouraging words were helpful ☺ It was a wonderful experience that I'll never forget and out of the 4 tours I booked this one was my favorite!!"
