1-Day Tour, start from Lake of Predil, pick-up in Krajska Gora / Bled
Join us on an amazing hike in the Julian Alps to admire spectacular mountainous landscape with the 1,400-m long and 400-m wide glacial Rabeljsko Jezero (Lake of Predil) dominating a thousand meters below. Jerebica, a beautiful peak right on the border between Slovenia and Italy, shows a formidable and precipitous north-eastern side from Lake of Predil, but we tackle the mountain from its much friendlier and greener northern side. A long and partly exposed hike takes us to the 2,126-meter peak where on a nice day the glacial lake glitters a thousand meters below, looking much smaller from a distance, but no less spectacular. Idyllically surrounded by steep green mountains that stretch forever in every direction, both to Slovenia and Italy, while also to Austria in the distance, the turquoise Lake of Predil looks so surreal that it’s hard to imagine it exists outside of a fairytale. Perfection in its broadest sense.
