1-Day Tour, Gozd Martuljek to Gozd Martuljek
One of the most attractive trails of the Julian Alps leads to Široka Peč, a grand but lonely mountain of incredible views and a difficult approach. Even the most demanding mountaineers will appreciate its long ascent, solitude and total Alpine wilderness, and fall in love with its naturally formed amphitheater on the way. A reward? The views from the top are just fantastic!

Itinerary
From a small village called Gozd Martuljek we head towards Široka Peč, one of the most imposing mountains of the Julian Alps. We'll pass the Za Akom bivouac and head towards the amphitheater over secured grassy slopes, and secured climbing pitches. After that, it's mainly alpinist-style I, II, and III climbing all the way to the top.

T4 | Recommended for climbers with Alpine climbing experience. Surfaces: mountainous terrain with demanding and extremely exposed walls, I, II, III climbing and short sections of IV climbing with no safety cables, or harder via ferrata routes.
